We get those who serve out on Alaska’s waters to breathe, reconnect, and reset.
Boots to Waders exists to give all Department of Defense personnel, veterans, first & emergency responders and their families a chance to step away from the noise and find some calm on the water. We take people fishing—not just for the fish, but for the connection, the relief, and the moments that happen out there.
Every trip is free and fully guided, giving our guests a safe, relaxed space to unwind, enjoy the water, and connect at their own comfort level. Whether they talk, listen, or simply take in the day, they’re surrounded by a community that genuinely cares. Our mission is simple: give back to the people who give so much to all of us.
